Cycling
Athletes from Cycle Teams and Triathlon Teams can be hosted in training groups for road cycle training outside the boundaries of Torbay.
Training rides of 30 miles (48.28 Km) to 100 miles (160.93 Km) or more will be organised by Mid Devon Cycling Club. The club has overwhelming experience of promoting Road Massed Start and Time Trial Races in Devon.
Six former national champions are available to lead training groups.
Mid Devon Cycling Club
The Mid-Devon Cycling Club was formed in 1930 and is now one of the most prominent cycling clubs in the South West. It promotes a varied calendar of events. These include Road Races, Mountain Bike Races and Time Trials.
The club regularly produces champion cyclists. The names of Jeremy Hunt, Yanto Barker, Mike and Andrew Parker, plus Colin Lewis and Roy Hopkins come immediately to mind.
