Welcome to the English Riviera

If you are planning to visit, you’ll find there is plenty to do outside of the training camps.
Whether you’re into the great outdoors, history, lolling on a beach, sports, or sightseeing, you will find something on Devon’s legendary English Riviera to suit.
On the seaside promenades, families stroll in the sunshine, taking in the fresh sea air. Fishing boats dock to unload their catch, which is hauled off to the many local restaurants. Out on the water, yachts race across the horizon. Watching from the shore are visitors indulging in the more leisurely activities of dining on local seafood, washed down with fragrant, golden Devon wines, or shopping in the waterside arcades.
Torbay – also known as the English Riviera – comprises the three resort towns of Torquay, Paignton & Brixham on Devon’s south coast. It is a popular area with holidaymakers.
